Best of The Best 2020, Postponed Until May 30th 2021 –
Due To COVID_19 Pandemic.
March 30, 2020 Miami, Florida. The organizers of BEST OF THE BEST (BOTB), North America's largest international music festival have announced the postponing of this year’s edition of the event due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. With very few signs of this virus abating, it is extremely difficult to predict when life as we know it will resume, therefore a number of sports events, festivals, film and TV shoots, and other events worldwide have been canceled, rescheduled, or modified. BOTB will be postponed until Sunday May 30, 2021.
While the world comes to a standstill, while enduring financial hardships, lost revenues, lack of resources and shutdown of various forms of transportation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Best of the Best producers strongly advocate that we all need to heal mentally, physically and spiritually before we move forward.
“Taking into consideration the safety of our patrons, the uncertainty of the workforce and the climate of the travel industry, we have decided to put Best of the Best 2020 on hold until next year. Let us all focus on getting through these times with our families and loved ones. We have all been affected and we all need each other to pull through completely before we commence and start going to concerts again. To all our supporters over the past 13 years, we Thank You and appreciate you, we will get through this together and celebrate Best of the Best 15th year, healthier, stronger and bigger than before. See you all in 2021." - stated the music festival organizer.
The annual event, which takes place at Bay Front Park in downtown Miami, is a yearly anticipated event that kicks off the start of the summer season with a star-studded line-up of Caribbean Culture. The organizers related that 2021 will once again welcome the first announced line-up, featuring Billboard charting star renowned for her showmanship, Spice (Cool It, Genie, Sheet), young reggae sensation Koffee (Toast, Burning, Rapture), dancehall phenomenon Shenseea (Blessed, Lodi, ShenYeng), legendary Tanya Stephens (These Streets, It's a Pity) trailblazer Lady G (Breeze Off, Nuff Respect) and popular soca Alison Hinds (Roll It Gal, Thundah). Although the second lineup of performers has not been announced, BOTB has been known throughout its 13 years to bring to the BayFront Park, some of the biggest names in Dancehall, Reggae, Soca and even special Hip Hop and R&B guests.
Tickets purchased for this year's edition of the festival are still valid and can be used for access to next year's Best of the Best Music Fest. BOTB will be postponed until Sunday May 30th, 2021.
